Meet Your Instructor: Jo
Jo has been practicing qigong for 33 years and has trained at the Wudang Taoist Kungfu Academy in the heart of China, she has also had the fortune to train with masters such as Mark Maxwell, Mantak Chia, Shi Heng Yi and Lee Holden. Alongside her practice, she is a qualified gemologist with training in quantum physics and a view to understanding how energy interacts with different interfaces.
Jo was working as a skipper for 23 years as her day job but when locked down on a small island in the outer Hebrides she started teaching qigong which developed into a collaboration of likeminded spiritually driven individuals forming the Jedi School and organising pilgrimages to sacred sites and expeditions. Scientific knowledge is a foundation of the practices within the Jedi School, the understanding of the various sciences of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, frequency, vibration and energy are all imparted alongside practice with tangible results.
